Another view of Jim spraying gunite onto the rebar. This is a noisy process involving much shouting of instructions over the din of machinery. A concrete truck dumps concrete into the hopper of a loud gasoline-powered machine that pumps it through the hose that Jim is holding. A compressor provides pressurized air at the nozzle of the hose, where it mixes with the concrete. The pressurized air arrives through the smaller of the two hoses that we see here, and the concrete through the larger hose.
