The skin of the yurt has two layers. The first - closest to the lattice wall - is the insulation, which consists of about half an inch of air-filled plastic bubbles covered on the inside with a layer of white plastic and silvered on the outside. Here we see the baalat mikveh inspecting a portion of the newly installed insulation. Note that insulation and a beige outer roof skin already have been placed on the top of the yurt.

There will be four windows in the yurt facing the four directions; this photo shows the west window.
